Boat & Dock Rules

BOAT AND BOAT DOCK RULES
 for
THE WILLOWS SUBDIVISION

 

 

  1. Floating docks that are not permanently mounted to the shoreline or the lake floor will be permitted; BUT ONLY IF the owner gets written permission from the Association to have a floating dock before installing it.

     

  2. No motorized watercraft of any kind is permitted on the wet retention lake.

     

  3. Owners may use non-motorized watercraft, such as canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, and peddle boats, on the wet retention lake; BUT ONLY IF the owner gets written permission from the Association to do so and pays any annual registration charge, if any.

     

  4. Applications for dock construction, dock use, and non-motorized watercraft use shall be submitted in writing to the Association for its prior review and approval. Approval or denial of a request is within the sole discretion of the Board, and the Board’s decision will be provided to the owner in writing.

     

  5. Boats may be used on the wet retention lake at any time of the year, if possible; but may only be tied up and/or stored on docks from May 1st though October 15th of each calendar year. From October 16th through April 30th, boats must be stored either under an owner’s deck or in the owner’s garage. Boats may not be stored in an owner’s yard.

     

  6. Docks must remain free of boating and swimming toys and other recreational items except while the toys and/or items are being used or drying immediately after use.
